Published January 14, 2015Having been led, as we believe, by the Holy Spirit of God to receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and having been baptized in accordance with Christ’s command, we do now in the presence of God and our fellow members solemnly enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ. The statement may be revised to update the wording. It is not to be thought of as regimenting our people, but should encourage a continuing investigation of Scripture teaching.
